Services

Cemetery ServicesWe are part of the Roman Catholic Church through the Archdiocese of Milwaukee. As such, we are a service organization for the living and for the dead. There are many dimensions and concerns in operating a system of cemeteries.

We are aware of many on a day-to-day basis as we deal with all manner of planning, maintaining, updating, informing, administering and the like.

We are attuned to the needs of the faithful we serve...whether articulated in words or expressed in other ways. This Services section categorizes and presents some of the services which you may need or request.

Some of the programs we offer:

FAMILY HERITAGE PROGRAM

This unique program allows for graves or crypts already owned by families to be transformed into a family estate. Depending on the grave or crypt selected, a number of cremated remains can typically be added. The plot will serve as a family’s final gathering place, allowing family members who have lived apart to be together on their final journey, as well a place where generations can remember their ancestors. With the program we maximize the use of space and minimize the cost to families

Create a Family Estate Catholic Cremation- A new program bringing families together when cremation is the preferred choice.

Connect Past, Present & Future Generations -Transform an existing grave or crypt into a family plot and create a place of remembrance for generations to come.

Living Our Mission - We make end of life services more affordable so that everyone in the community can have a dignified and sacred resting place.

“A family estate provides a unique opportunity to unite past, present and future generations, in the promise of everlasting life.”

Mary Thiel Director of Cemeteries.

MOTHER TERESA PROGRAM

Cemetery Assistance Program that serves families in need in our community. Mother Teresa firmly believed that love begins at home and that we should reach out to those in need in our family first, then our community, our country and our world. It is in this spirit that CFCS created the Mother Teresa Program that allows the poor and destitute in our community to receive sacred and dignified cemetery services.

“Love Begins at Home”

Mother Teresa proclaimed “I want you to find the poor here, right in your own home... love begins at home.” [In our community there are many in need; over 11.3%* of Wisconsinites live below the poverty line. * US Census SPM 2013-2017] Serving Our Community With the Mother Teresa Program, Catholic Funeral & Cemetery Services (CFCS) of Milwaukee is able to give back to the community by ensuring that those in need in our community receive sacred and dignified cemetery services.

Living Our Mission As a charitable organization, CFCS assists families in sharing this most meaningful experience with family and friends.

Mother Teresa was a luminous messenger of God’s love who is well noted for her charity, compassion and courage. Everyday she went into her community to find and serve Him in the “unwanted, the unloved and the uncared for.” She founded the Missionaries of Charity, which continue to meet the physical and spiritual needs of the poor and ensure that her charitable spirit lives on.
