Website Corrections and Updates

The Archdiocese of Milwaukee Catholic Cemeteries (AOMCC) prides itself on being one of the first cemeteries in the country to integrate its internal burial records information with its own website. This site, in connection with our Cemetery Inventory Management System (CIMS), has assisted families in searching for the interment locations of their loved ones on our "Genealogy" tab for many, many years.

Unfortunately, as technology advances, what was once "state of the art" is now almost obsolete. What "worked" in older versions of software no longer works as we'd hope. For example, the option to add comments and such has not worked properly for some time. Recent interments at our cemeteries are also not being uploaded to the website.

We are currently developing a new software program and website access that will bring many of our features up-to-date with remarkable accuracy and detail. Corrections and updates of names, intement locations and the like are ongoing and will be part of the new system. We are several months away from this new program, but we assure you it will very much be worth the wait!

Until then, our website will continue to be available to you in the best condition we can provide. If you would like the most up-to-date, accurate records possible, please contact the cemetery you wish to inquire about and you can discuss it with their Family Serive Coordionators and/or Family Service Advisors.

We look forward to serving you!

Cemetery groundsVisitation and Decoration Policies

As you visit our cemeteries, we would like to remind you that the Archdiocese of Milwaukee Catholic Cemeteries (AOMCC) crews clean every cemetery and mausoleum as regularly as possible aside from our regular Fall and Spring cleaning dates to remove and discard decorations not in compliance with decoration policies. Anything not in a vase or growing in the ground near graves, and anything placed on a crypt or niche front not purchased through AOMCC is considered a violation and will be removed in time. For further details on our policies, please contact the cemetery office where you wish to do your decorating and please review our Visitation and Decoration Policy brochure.

Read more about our policies and download the brochure.
